SUMMARY:Fall Tours
DESCRIPTION:Fall Tours\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Fall tours will begin on September 21\, 2020\, and conclude on October 30\, 2020. Our one-hour day tours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please ask if you need another time. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Activities\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				The guided tour includes: an educational hayride through our decorated fruit and vegetable fields\, farm animals\, an inside peek at a working bee hive\, a produce washer demonstration\, and a tour through our produce cooler followed with a seasonal vegetable lecture. Each paying guest will receive an apple\, sample of cider and a 3-5lb pumpkin. We apologize\, but the hayride wagons are not wheelchair accessible; there are 3 short steps with railing. \nFor senior groups\,tours can be adjusted based on the needs of the group. After the hayride\, enjoy lunch while listening to a brief history of Trax Farms. Boxed lunches can be ordered through our deli. The boxed lunch orders must be placed at least 48 hours in advance. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Transportation\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Buses are best. Car pools should arrive together to ensure a speedy check-in. All groups are asked to meet outside at the Fall Tour Drop Off sign in our Front parking lot. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Fees\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Tours are $10.00 per person. This includes an apple\, sample of cider and a 3-5 pound pumpkin. We allow two free teachers per individual tour group. Please collect all money in advance for your tour and make one payment per group. If you are ordering boxed lunches they are paid for seperately at the deli and should be ordered 48-hours in advance. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Reservations\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Tours are by reservation only! There is a maximum of 30 people and minimum of 10 people per individual tour group. We can accommodate 4 tour groups of up to 30 people per hour. We welcome any groups planning to stay through lunch. However\, you must notify us when scheduling your tour so that we can allocate space for your group! If for any reason\, you are 15 minutes or more late\, your tour guide may determine if parts of your tour need to be eliminated. For more information call Trax Farms 412-835-3246. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Cancellations\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				At least a 48-hour cancellation notice is required by email at falltours@traxfarms.com. Without this notice\, a $50.00 cancellation fee may be billed to your organization. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Dress Attire\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Comfortable everyday clothes will be fine. Please dress according to the weather. October can be unseasonably chilly and coats\, hats and gloves may be needed.
